This is the end of our youth glory in football. Now that the cheating with over-aged players cannot happen again, Ghana and Nigeria will never win any youth tournaments again. Nigeria also lost 1-2 to Portugal. Look at the Ghanaian players and they are all of them shorter than the French players who have had better food and grown huge even though most of them were black like the Ghanaians.

But in the long run, it will be good for both Ghana and Nigeria. People will play with their true ages and this will give chance to younger players who will hit their prime in the national team. In the end it is the senior team that matters most. The boys who played were good at their ages. And they will be even better for the national team. So we should cry too much.

Why did Coach Tetteh benched experienced players like Yiadom Boakye and Rahman?.. only called on them when things are getting worse to come and bail you with a consolation goal. when you have the skillful players in your custody use them don't wait till last minute. This is the reason why we telling coach Appiah that the world cup is around the corner so he has to use the experience players to help him to become a good coach. Coach Appiah too look shake shake to use the skillful returnee but want to rely on try and error one who gave people blood pressure in the African cup of nations last time. I hope and pray that his mind will be stable to use the returnees.
