this guy is the best of all times,better than tony yeboah.i know a lot of people would be calling for my head for saying this but a striker is judged by his goals and this guy is right at the top.
only abedi is got I think one or two more than him but he is still playing and im sure its just a matter of time b4 he becomes ghanas all time great.so how can you say he is not a blackstar material.
you say other strikers who are hungry and ready to deliver,there is none,atleast not yet,i say sack the muimui coach and bring in someone who can make him hungry and ready to deliver because there is no other strikers in Ghana better than him,got the experience and the big game confident like him,even up till date.
gone are the days when we had some of the best midfields in the world,some of the great passers of the ball,the legendary appiah,essien,muntari,creating chance after chance even against the best in the world,we don't ave that midfield anymore or the coach is not good enough to creat such a midfield for asamoah to score.

What are you talking about? Asamoah Gyan has been with the Blackstars since 2003 when his brother Baffour Gyan too was also in the team. Asamoah Gyan did not start playing for Blackstars as a one striker in 2010 but he has been a one man striker if I can remember since 2006 and until a stint in the team in 2008 by Junior Agogo who vanished from the scene after AFCON 2008.

you said I dnt know Ghana football,i know I do but I wont challenge u on that one but I do know world football.
and apart from those already in the team or kicked out by that [muimui]akwesi appiah,I havnt heard of any Ghanaian striker making it big in Europe or in champions league,
look,if you are that good,if u are a cut above the rest,which is wot we need,not average players,players comin 2 make blackstar big,not players who want blackstar to make them big.you only need 15mins to show wot you can do,and even b,cos of wot u doin at club level and the big clubs fightin 4 ur signature.we all know demba ba,we all know papi cisse,adebayor,drogba,this are the names of strikers we waitin for in Ghana football or the stage this guys are,

Kosh, don't even go there. Adebayor has made a name for himself at the best leaqgue in the world by playing for teams like Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspus having scored twenty or more goals in a season at least three times.

Gyan tried EPL and we all found out he is not a EPL material. Gyan is not a good one striker type of footballer. He survives best in two strikers formation and that became clear when Sunderland traded his strike partner and Gyan could score any more goals after that in one striker formation. When great strikers from Africa are being mentioned, Asamoah Gyan will nt be one but Adebayor will be among the top players mentioned.

Anyway when it comes to ade and gyan,gyan is a better one top player,no question about that.its the inconsistency of gyan that works against him,the lack of goals and missin chance after chance which is not only gyans problem but problem of all Ghanaian strikers,which is why u dnt see a Ghanaian striker playin 4 any top team in Europe b,cos its abot goals,ade on the other hand is a better finisher but with all his height cant hold the ball and bring others into play u'll know wot im sayin if u watch adebayor during his real Madrid days.

I undstnd a prophet is never liked in his own country,football is abot the drama,the joy,tears and excitement and im sure asamoah gyan is given Africans all over the world great memories,hope and believe during the world cups,so its not only about club football.

Look at Abedi and his children. Abedi has inested all his money and that of his children in Accra. Even he could have stationed his footbal team Nania FC at Paga or Bolgatanga and he has connection with rich and important people to build a 20 million dollars stadium in Bolgatanga to provide employment and entertainment to the local people. A strong Nania footbal team at Bolgatanga with staidiums and hotels will improve the economy of the Upper East Region. He is the best friend Burkina Faso's President who even transport meaqts in his private plane to Abedi in Accra.

I have said this many times though this site is a sports site but let me diverge a little here. The rich Northerners should start investing in their own backyards and the other tribes will follow as the Asantes have done in their Region likewise the Bonos and Kwahus. Government alone cannot develop the Northern regions.
