Hey Kweku, go all the way and make your family and Ghana proud. Remain focussed and be disciplined and above all, look to God for direction. Coach, well done and God bless you.

What I will add, however, is that efforts should be made broaden the sport among the populace. It looks like only those who are privileged to attend the high class schools get access to the facilities to swim, and of course have the money to pay at Tesano Club etc.

In the land of blind the one eye man rules. I would either bring this Kweku boy here to try out with my half brother's son and we shall see. Are you sure Ghana people did use the right clock to time this guy we live to see.

PLS, TRAIN HIM TO GO AND WIN A MEDAL. NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LES. DONT TRAIN HIM TO GO AND COMPETE, BUT TO GO TO THE OLYMPICS AND WIN A MEDAL. ALSO, WHY CAT U SECURE SOME SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR THIS LAD IN THE US OR AUSTRALIA WHERE SWIMMING IS TAKEN MUCH SERIOUSLY.

Congrats to the young man but he lacks the physique to make it and hopefully gets a growth spurt then he will be something. Look into his genetics before you invest your money. Take a look at the folks who compete at the Olympics..Most are 6 feet 3 or taller and have broad shoulders and eat well. Note the world record is 20.91 and he's what... at least 4 seconds off. Let's just say if he goes abroad he might reduce it by a couple of seconds if that. At his age, check the records, most folks are swimming 22 seconds and less and that is with good nutrition, speedo gear, etc. Happy for the young man but lets just say club athletes in western countries regularly swim 22.5 seconds. Right now he's good enough for Ghana but let's encourage him but please manage his expectations. Hopefully he gets a scholarship to go to a US school then he might turn out to be something cause we have the work ethic.

those in the Olympics were "born" in the pull and undergo strict regimen at an early age...even if kweku moves to the states it will be very difficult since kids in junior high are making his time. that's the truth
