He should also review his player exodus for the betterment of the club. I've been peeved since sunday when we crashed out of the Caf Champions league. Some individuals in Ghana's sports media are the brain behind the situation. They need to be profesionals. Since he came to KOTOKO alot of loopholes have been closed. Most of the journalists chastising K.k today have been taken off Kotoko's payroll and that is understandable. we need a united Kotoko. K.k Sarpong is the best thing that has happened to Kotoko in the last 15 years.

My first lesson in football administration and it's difficulties was learnt when I was a teenager. It was during the tenure of President Kuffour as Chairman of Kotoko with Mr. Awuah as CEO. I remember vaguely that Mr. Awuah was then working at GIMPA. kotoko did not win the league but had made profit that year. When Mr. Awuah stated this fact, supporters at the Gyandu park in Sekondi in a discussion were angry that they prefer losses with winning the league. My lesson was that in football winning things was more important. So Man U and Chelsea continue to win things with accompanying losses year on year but economist Wenger makes profit with no trophies to show. The question then is in Kotoko who bears the losses? How much are fans willing to pay at the gates to maintain the good players? The debate can continue elsewhere. As for Mr. Sarpong, I feel he did well to win the league last year and must be eager to do better than that. Kotoko fans should remember that these days the smaller clubs are rather prepared to sell their players outside. Kotoko and Hearts are suffers because they have lost the breeding grounds they had in Corners and Olympics. I will continue another time.

kotoko is looking potentially good. to me the only minus was that yaw frimpong left. if yaw frimpong were in the team there was no way he wouldn't have cooked an additional goal in the encounter with the algerians.

One thing Ghanaian fans should realize is that football is no longer for only entertainment, but for business as well. That is why in Europe, supporters buy shares and buy expensive tickets to support the team. In Ghana, we want to eat our cake and have it. It does not work that way. I don't know KK, but I agree with him. Sometimes you need to part with your pricey players at the time others need them in order to get the rest of the work done.It is the responsibility of the coach to use the available resources to make the players produce. They should blame the coach and the players and not the chairman. His job is to make the team financially stable to pay the players.
With regards to the quality of discussions on the radio and the writing, I agree that it is less to be desired. They are too quick to judge and sometimes I think they instigate rather report. This is where the problem is. They also rush to write and does not proof read. KK, what I will say that, supporters have that passionate right to complain and they will always do that. What you might want to do is to acknowledge their feelings and reassure them of your commitment to bring the team to the level they will want it to be. Remember, one of the best things a leader can do is put on his listening ears all the time.

It is true that when a team becomes weak, we rebiuld to make it stronger. My question here is that, are we building the team or building players to sel? If all the quarlity players in the team are being sold, how can we get a concistent team to compete with others who have kept their players for years? A concistent team can pool the supporters to watch the team play and that will sreve as a big souce of income. Dr. must admite the mistakes and do the right thing to move Kotoko foward.
