I was and still am an advocate for Black stars bigger than a single player. However I will admonish our brethren to take it easy on the Ayews and work hard to defeat the work of the enemy. Who is trying to have Black stars camp filled with half fit players.
The adage " when your child urinate on your thighs, you do not cut your thigh away" or "Oba enye a oba aa nunu" .
Ayews are Ghanaians and fact that they called off the pit due to disagreement with GFA does not mean Ghana will denounce them. They are still Ghanaians and we must work hard to instill discipline on our children. Knowing very well some young kids would always take a punishment as hatred. But son, your dad punishes you because he loves you.
That said, I will put pride aside and seek to assemble all necessary armor Ghana need to take to the world cup. But do not get me wrong and If I was the coach, I will build Black star in such a way, players irrespective of their caliber would fight for a position in the team. I will also demand total commitment and dedication and a goal to achieve. Akwasi Appiah must aim at final and not the quarter final. So we need players with the mental aptitude to wear the Ghana jersey, period.

The only way I would have allowed them back to the team was for them to write letters since they know how to write letters to complain to apologise and beg to be allowed back into the team. That will stop future players to embark on such stupidities.

By the way, in the squad we have now whose position Dede or Jordan is going to take now? Dede plays right wing (7), left wing (11), Play Making (10). These are the three positions he performs well at. Now let us see which players occupying these positions.

Concerning the right wing (7) position, we have Solomon Asante, Albert Adormah and Christian Atsu though Atsu plays more left. These are the players Dede will be competing against when Appiah considers him.

I know for sure that he could take Solomon Asante and Albert Adormah but can he take Atsu? I don't think so. Besides, his attitude alone wouldn't permit him to take this position. It would be very difficult for him to come in games from bench. Therefore, it would be better to keep his retirement status still in tack until his attitude changes.

As for the Player Maker, the number (10) position, we shouldn't even compare because Dede is not better than Kwekwo Asamoah. Moreover this same attitude of his, is below par in comparison with Kwedwo Asamoah. Thus, he would be coming from the bench if he is accepted back into the Stars fold. Will he allow his pride to sit at the back seat and allow himself to come into games from the bench? Dede doesn't have the humble heart to come into games from bench. Even when he is performing poorly and is asked to come out, it becomes a fight. Therefore, there is no need to even invite him. Allow him to stay retired.

In terms of the number 11 position, the left wing, he will have to come in, here too, from the bench after Sulley Mntari is tired or not functioning properly. This is the same case as the others. Dede is not a player like Agyemang Badu who understands and have a humble heart to come into a game from the bench like the player demonstrated last week. Dede wouldn't allow that.

These are some of the things GFA needs to take a look at before even considering asking the Ayews to come back. There are no place for hem now.

For Jordan's case, I don't see who he could overtake in the team at he moment. Therefore, why even bother to invite him. Folks once a player is gone for just a day, another takes over for a life time. This makes sense and brings understand to your point as the Ayews should be allowed to retired forever.

Akwesi Appiah is from the plant earth and problem is not him it the got damn GFA and their appeasement. They do not have the balls to do the right thing from Essien to the Ayews and most Ghanaians do not have the wiliness to stand up to what they believe in. Take Fabio Capello he quits his English because the English FA has gone against his wishes that is what we need.

Announce a premature retirement from the team because you don't like the nose of a coach, draw some amount of public support, rescind your decision and come back in a few months after some persuasion work have gone on behind the curtain.

Asamoah Gyan did it and did not only get away, but also earned the captain's band to the detriment of loyalty. Very soon, Kevin Prince Boateng is going to scamper in like a rat and be worshipped by some Ghanaians who desire he returns to the national team. This is nothing more than a lack of self-confidence. Dede feared about competing a spot with Sulley, and Atsu after his disrespectful behavior towards the coach. He simply feared he will be treated similarly to how Milo treated Muntari in their encounter. Jordan also knew the competition was not in his favor among his striking competitors. So they meant to use a reverse psychology to threaten the team so that they will be guaranteed a spot whenever they were called, but that has blown in their faces. Blame Abedi for all this because he was the master planner; he designed it all. Regardless, we all know the potential of Dede, I think he deserves a call up if he means to withdraw his decision. We will definitely need Dede but not so much Jordan and Akwasi Appiah should not call Jordan just to put matters to rest.

KWESI APPIAH is not only selecting players from abroad he is selecting locals and has discovered a lot of young players abroad so there is not much comfort for players who have played at least 2 competitions. practices of the past a fast fading away. for instance under stephen appiah the door was seen shut in the face of very talented and capable players like ishmael addo, copson, michael osei, don bortey, yakubu abubakari, joe tex frimpong, abubakari yahuza. if the call up net were widely spread like kwesi appiah was doing now, there was no way players like painstsil, anthony annan, muntari, djan, stephen appiah etc would have lasted that long

If you can just go back and read comments when Dede and Jordan sent their letters to GFA, almost everybody was shouting FIRE APPIAH HOW CAN HE TREAT THE AYEWS THIS WAY, FIRE NYANTAKYI, DISSOLVE GFA, We need the AYEWS. A HALF FIT DEDE is better than THOSE PLAYERS. Now just one win has changed the TUNE to we don't really need the AYEWS,AYEWS ARE ARROGANT AND SHOULD STAY AWAY/RETIRED,AYEWS ARE OUR DOWNFALL, THE POSITION IS FULL, THE TEAM IS GOOD, GOD IS WITH APPIAH AND DIDN'T LET HIM FAIL...EEII Hmmmm, am not for or against anybody, but am just amazed at the characteristics/behavior of most Ghanaian's. Knock-on-wood Lets see when things gets worse, I can bet, the Tune will change to I always said we need THE AYEWS, I ALWAYS SAID coach APPIAH WAS INCOMPETENT, I ALWAYS SAID LETS FIRE NYANTAKYI AND HIS GFA CRONIES,GFA IS USELESS,BLACKSTARS ARE a DISGRACE TO THE NATION LETS DISSOLVE THE WHOLE TEAM..ETC.YET we POINT FINGERS AND blame our leaders... WE THE PEOPLE HAVE CORRUPT ATTITUDES that's why we END UP BEING ruled by CORRUPT LEADERS IRRELEVANT OF WHAT POLITICAL PARTY!!!! WHERE DO OUR LEADERS EMERGE FROM ??? ANSWER: FROM AMONG US GHANAIAN'S!! Soccer skills have nothing to do with any specific area of Ghana, or the people therein. There has been, and will still be great players from every corner of Ghana, for every position on the soccer field for years to come. The midfield is no exception. Please avoid injecting tribalism into Ghanaian soccer, positions and formations. We are one solid people of Ghana, period. I think players are selected based on skill, fit with the team and other technical factors. Tribal origin is a non-factor in player selection for Ghana Black Stars.
