I do agree with the Ayews on the basis of the fact each and every one of us have our endurance level and perhaps the they have also got to the point where. Captainship is for the best and not for any 'mumu' player. Ayew will definitely Captain the to success. For me it doesn't come as a surprise, because that is the nature of GFA. There are numerous players that have suffered that faith at the hands of GFA.

I would very happy, and I am for players like Danny Welbeck and especially Emmanual Frimpong if he can rescind his decision of playing for Ghana Black Stars, he might suffer the same faith.

I rest my case, God bless the Ayews and two great Legends; Stephen Tonado Appiah and Abedi Ayew Pele.

Let us not cry over a spill milk,I will say GFA and APPIAH should concentrate on the rest of the team players and leave the duo to think about themselves till their ready to join the team back. Over concentrating on the duo will mean the rest are less effective for the job without the two, Appiah should make do with the Wakasus and Cloteys, for water will find its own level in the matter. But the brother should also know that some body can capitalize on their stay away to better himself there by preventing them rejoining or making the surplus to requirement in the team.They should think twice and reconsider their decision.

What you & the Ayews deemed had forgotten is that they were called for the first time to feature the blackstars at the expense of other experienced and then regular players of the blackstar, those players kept their cool and still waiting if they will be called back-The ayews got the chance to play becouse they are ghanaians, in the same vains to their called up , can be given to other ghanains as a chance to also represent their country, so if Abedi and his children are not happpy about this by given other ghanains the equal opportunity then they can leave the blackstars for good .
THE gfa IS ACTING VERY STUPID; by trying to set a bad example for the national team- if somebody made a decision just accept and respect it to look for replacements.
before john mensah, pentsil, Esien, stephen Appiahs etc were introduced into the team there were big names and good players already in the team, but with time those new players became the pillers of blackstars.

what happened when stephen Appiah wrote his retirement letter ? can you compare the Ayews to the former blackstar captain? yet his name has been disapeared nobody bothered to bring him back what type of management is that?

GFA should use this as the way forward to warn any player who retired prematurely as no coming back to safeguard the deciplinery measures in the country and the team.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the Black Stars management's not selecting Jordan to the AFCON! It's they who make the decisions and it's they who found Jordan not "good enough" to join the team to the tournament. End of the affair -- and end of the matter! They did not -- and do not -- owe Jordan or his father any explanation for not including Jordan in the team!

It doesn't make any difference if even Jordan were then the "Messi" in Marseille or had won African Best Footballer for three of seven times! Being a Maseille "Messi" or a top African footballer is not what decides the Black Stars selection for tournaments!

If either Jordan or his father or the writer feels that someone owes Jordan an explanation or justification for not being selected for AFCON 2013, then, there must be something fundamentally wrong with their egos! Such warped egos are better kept where they belong -- in the bosom of their owners, not in the selections of Black Stars players!

The decisions of the Black Stars management are not, and cannot be, expected to be totally, fully right all the time! Like any other humans, in any other organisations and institutions, they can make "mistakes"! What will be most abominable and totally foolish is to expect them to base their decisions on the egos and expectations of some players who hold themselves as tin-gods! Tweaakai! Black Stars don't make players; they only expose them. This article failed to explain why athletes playing either in some obscure club or from the bench would be preferred to anyone playing in the 1st team of an European 1st division club. Is it not because officials want to expose certain players in order to procure contracts for them and reap kickbacks? These boys didn't make a name at home and they cannot be endeared to our public; fine, but we did not handle the Essien problem with tact, neither did we handle the Kevin Boateng problem professionally. This is a third one and we still can't fancy who to blame. Has any officially apologized for eating Ghana money? So why should anyone feel obliged to apologise for his behaviour? Overhaul the football administration and we shall be at peace.

Therefore they should put the political aspects aside and allow the boys to offer their best services to the nation.

Yes the decision of Ayew brothers is not the best one but the GFA is not treating all the players well.

So I think we should look at this case in a broad scope for future developments.
