Issues regarding a nation and her citizens are different dealing with. How many times in the USA have you heard the government honoring past heroes except vietnam veterans? You go out there to compete, bring honor to the nation, you're rewarded according to the strength of the nation, the rest is up to you to penetrate taking advantage of the favour you've got to go places you couldn't have gone or break through barriers you couldn't have earlier on that's all. For some strange reason, it's turning out different in Ghana. Therefore, what ever steps the individual take, the institutions come across to sabotage it. What GFA ever since does, is to take bribes before selection. Also Bonus of the players were not given, timely. The boys had to run after their money severally. Why are almost all the best boys retire from the squad? This is the issue, we as Ghanaians must discuss.
GFA like many state institution are not doing well due to corruption and slave behaviours.
We must support the Ayews, Muntari, Essien, Kevin Prince Boateng, Gyan and others to enforce Change of mind in the GFA.
I don´t think the actual ongoing is base on the best players.
If we want to avoid the back sliding of the Black stars with disqualification, i suggest, we must join hands together to enforce transparency and accountability as well as Fairness to all the talented players.

Abedi Pele himself has proven that he himself has not grown up. He is of the same immature mentality as his children. If he is comfortable with the undisciplined position of his children then he has exposed himself as also an undisciplined adult. His children not surprisingly are what is referred to as spoilt sports and after all they are not even extraordinary footballers. The Black Stars can perfectly well do without them. There are many other young players looking for the life-time opportunity to play for their country.
This is not surprising. Isnt Abedi the same man who some years ago cheated on the national league by fixing cricket scores with his football team? The fact that the GFA dubiously let him off the hook on account of the personal relationship they share with him does not mean that some of us have forgotten his evil deeds. He is as corrupt as our politicians. Obviously the illiteracy and ignorance of their father has been passed on to the children.
In all of this matter, I blame the GFA. They dont have credibility and they dont have balls. They should make laws governing the rights and the opportunity to play for the national team which any player who is sufficiently capable should be made to sign - if they want to be on call for the national team. Any violation of this agreement should be considered as an affront to the Black Stars and an insult to the nation. It should then attract severe sanctions which reach beyond the realms of sports.
For now The GFA should stand up and tell those badly brought up Ayew boys to go to hell. Time will tell them that you cannot turn your back on your own nation.

Consider those who made it ahead of him: Asamoah Gyan plays in a less competitive league but has more experience; Richmond Boakye-Yiadom, a débutante is on loan with Sassuolo in the Italian Serie B; Emmanuel Clottey, a debutante is struggling to find his feet at Esperance in Tunisia; Yahaya Mohammed, also a debutant, plays with newly promoted Amidaus in Ghana's premier league. Tell me if this decision to drop Jordan was because of football reasons. Andre and Jordan are not the best players in the world or super players but considering Ghana's player strength and who they are competing against, there is no objective justification why they shouldn't make the 23-man team even if they are not in the first 11.

It was Akwesi who was embittered in the situation. How could Akwasi drop Andre and Jordan for non-football reasons? Both were in a better form than most of their competitors who made the team. Debutants were picked ahead of them. Again, AA used the excuse that he is dropping Andre because wants only fully fit players but you and I know that many of the players who made the squad were not fit. Vorsah, Jonathan Mensah, Agyemang Badu and a host of others were either injured or hadn't fully recovered from injury. Shame on you. Be objective and think deeper!

You did the same in your time and Ghana never progressed in soccer. Again you are inciting your children leading to confusion in Ghana football again. You were a great footballer but do you think the behaviour of your children will be tolerated in any country.
Yes the Abedi family knows how to play football but lack of discipline is their problem especially you and your children. You forced GFA to do the unthinkable in your time and Ghana failed in your time even though we had best players than now. Again you are leading your children to do likewise for Ghana to fail.
Its unfortunate GFA responded to your children in a wrong way and that may bend the curve for Ghana to qualify for the WC.
This was what was to be: Ghana was going to qualify for WC2014 under Kwesi Appiah- a prophet was not not honored in his own home., until GFA's response to your children bent the curve to the qualification. Blame the GFA when Ghana does not qualify but not the coach.
As for your children they need advice from you but their behaviour will set Ghana back just as you did in your time.

Once a player says he is no longer willing to pay , for whatever reason, you have to drop him. if the unwilling player is not dropped, he wont give his best. The Ayews are talented no doubt. However, it is in the interest of Ghana and the Black stars to let them be for now. Players like George Weah,Drogba etc have done so much for their Countries. For now, let the Ayews be whilst the Black stars concentrate on their remaining matches. Whether the Ayews were right or wrong, i strongly feel the Black stars will win with or without them if they concentrate on the future games.
