  • Slimzay**The Unshakable Shaker** 11 years ago

Burkina Faso and Nigeria qualified to the quarter finals, whilst Zambia is going home.

  • Busumbru 11 years ago

    Servrs them right,,,,haaaa

  • Sammy the Sheriff 11 years ago

Nigeria has a date with Ivory Coast, that is going to be the cracker of of the quarter finals.

It's not official but I don't see Ivory Coast losing to Algeria or Togo beating Tunisia by more than one goal.

  • Busumbru 11 years ago

May be we need to wait and see. Especially the Tunisia vs Togo match.I think anything can happen including surprises.

  • Sammy the Sheriff 11 years ago

You are right but even if Tunisia beat Togo, they will still play second bananas to Ivory Coast because the only thing that is guarantee in life is death, taxes and Ivory Coast topping their group.

  • Johnny 11 years ago

The commentator on the Zambia/Burkina match said it was official, that Nigeria meets Ivory Coast in the quarters. Anybody knows the standings as at now?

  • Sammy the Sheriff 11 years ago

    Ivory Coast 6 points

    Togo 4 "

    Tunisia 3 "

    Algeria 0 "

  • Cornell 11 years ago

Even if Ivory Coast were to lose the final match against Algeria, because of superior head to head contest against Togo and Tunisia....they will still top the group.

  • Mr.N 11 years ago

It did happen in 2009 at Anglo where Algeria sent Ivory Coast packing. I had an encounter with Numerology and the numbers tell me that this Ivory Coast is Destiny not win anything.

  • Slimzay**The Unshakable Shaker** 11 years ago

Mr. N, even if Algeria beat Ivory Coast 10-0, and Togo or Tunisia wins 10-0, Ivory Coast will still come as the group leaders because head to head rule supersedes the goals aggregate. Therefore, since Ivory Coast beat both na ...

This is scandalous, players should be willing to die for the shirt, i see a reward for this when the tournament is won but not now. We definitely are not aware of our priorities.
