Ga Man, please stop saying that because all the players in camp participated in the qualifying and the friendly matches too. Therefore, no other player wasn't used for the sake of others. A player is not just picked to play a tournament until he participates in try matches and/or qualifying matches.
Moreover, 2008 AFCON, we had good players who were better than Dede but were dropped for him. Francis Dickoh was at that time in form. He could have played as defender and also as a defensive midfielder, he was dropped for other players including Dede. This resulted of us entering into 2008 AFCON with 6 true defenders.
Check this out, Matthew Amoah was in form at that time too but picked up an injury so he had to be left behind. Don't you think it is the same that happened to Dede? Yes, this is Dede's time to shine more that before, but wasn't fit according to his own statement. Let me ask you, what was he doing in the 2008 squad? Was he ready at that time? With his performance in that tournament, do you, GA MAN, think Dede was ready by then? He wasn't and he demonstrated it on the pitch during that tournament. He had some close chances to score for Ghana but he could because the experience wasn't there. I like the Ayews but we have to follow the rules which the coach stated to the world saying if one is not fit, he shouldn't be allowed to participate in the coming AFCON tournament. Therefore with this rule, do you, GA MAN, thought Dede was fit; even though, he himself and his club sent a message that indicated he picked up an injury?
Some players have been picked for the preparation of the coming WC. We have only two years to get a solid 23 man squad. Look at it this way, bro, Dede and Jordan have the experience and could be rely upon at anytime. About ten players in the squad, at the moment, don't have that quality under their belts. Wouldn't it be good to give those ten the opportunity to also have that?
My idea for this 2013 AFCON was that we were going all out to win so we were supposed to go with our best. However, the question is what if our best ins't fit, do we still have to go with them? That could not be possible. Hence, we have to think for the big picture which is both the AFCON and the WC. If we could use one stone to kill two birds why don't we use this stone? In other words, Dede and Jordan and even I believe Abdul Warris would be ready to join the team, and that will allow us to have a formidable squad for the world not only for the African continent. This is a process and we have to embrace it though it is difficult to do so.
So you see, all that players are being used to the sake of the tournament but in a good way. It is our military force, they are being used each day for the citizens safety in the country.
I hope you do understand my point.

Well, you should have mentioned what Mathew Amoah has done for black stars in your submission to deserve that recognition in 2008.but you fail to tell us his soccer credentials means he's a bencher in black stars.I can proudly say that Ayew won under 20 world cup in 2009,the first time in the whole Africa continent and not only Ghana.
That means some players in Ghana are more special than others in the world because even if they are half fit or head hanging on the neck, they must play if the coach is a qualify one without bribing.

No one in this country is more special than the other. We all have our qualities and perform our duties. Therefore, if the president of Ghana is presiding the country, your part, as a citizen, should also be done to more the country forward.
With this in mind, none of the players is more important than the other. Get that? What you are saying will bring confusion in the team and in the country. Is that what you want? Think, Bro, think!

I'm worrying though because if after every 2 matches there would be 4 players on injury list, then that wouldn't help us because the matches are 20th, 24th and 28th just for the Group Stages. This means, if after every 2 matches 4 of our players are going to be out, then we have a real problem at hand. We need all of them to get fit for this physically labeled tournament.
Have they checked the diet of the players? Are they around women and doing what not supposed to be done at this moment of their assignment? Are they drinking enough fluid? Is the type of physical exercise given to them causing this or what?
Oh my goodness. God help these players to get well for fire has been seen in them. They want to win this trophy so bad no matter what. I pray for strength to sustain they throughout the tournament.

Thank you, INNOCENT yum yum, I am touched by your best wishes and pray that they that our boys recover fully and that early for the battles ahead. I beg to mention that I was a bit worriedwhen I forst learnt about the close timing of these two Egypt and Tunisis warm-up matches, precisely for fear of injuries. But that, also, is the nature of football, and we only have to wish them speedy full recovery. All the best fo the Ghana Black Stars!
