How can Ghana not have strikers or keep experiencing the dearth of strikers for so long after Asamoah Gyan. That is unusual and it wasn't the case. Anyone can check the records. Please call him just as the former president called Asamoah from premature retirement.

In this case, I have said time and time again, that the current structure of national team football being run by administrators who have their own private clubs and players does not instil trust. Without trust team performance will be adversely affected. I insist the struggles of the men’s senior national football team is not due to other countries getting better at football. We can see clearly how they can easily qualify for World Cup but fail at Afcon. We have the quality players but we have to show them a structure that instils trust. We have to do this before they start to reason that world cup is also not even necessary. Thank you, government of Ghana and Sports minister.
