The lawyers for the GFA must have questions to answer. Why can't they include in that : In the event that a coach failed to deliver, that coach will be dismissed and a severance amount paid by the coach to the GFA..

At the specific time Otto Addo was sacked, he was meeting competitive matches contractal agreements. Friendly matches cannot be used to sack s coach.

If the so-called football people in Ghana are not ready to take wise decisions regarding Ghana football and will only follow their stomachs all the time, then the Ghana Govt might consider taking the management of the national teams from the GFA and setting up a small committee for that purpose. But the problem is how correct and corruption-free are the decisions of governments generally, across the different administrations?

We the tax payers are going to pay that money, are the national teams not belong to the government any more?. Are we not the ones in collaboration with sports journalists who call for coaches to be sacked without thinking about the implications?. Kofi Adams wanted the Otto Addo sacked when he assumed office but the FA didn't want to, for fear of the consequences, but the pressure came from everywhere, politicians, paliamentarians , journalists, then the FA yielded. The GFA has been summoned to FIFA but it is the government who is going to pay that money with our taxes. Let's get note of that.

He did better than most foreign coaches but you did not give him the chance to work and sacked him. This will be an insult and humiliation to every Ghana's if we allow the GFA to get its way without treating Otto fellow Ghanian fairly like GFA had treated other white coaches. We have people with inferior mentality making decisions for us and making us look we are nobody. OTTO deserves all his money. He did better than the current GS coach yet you are keeping with this white coach, just because he is while, Dummy GFA

After all.he qualified the team. Much of the money we recrived was for qualifying to play three group stage matches.
The new coach did not do much to generate extra money by moving say to quarter finals.

They always cheat the Coaches
This singular act has prevailed 8n out football industry for many many years.
On the club level, on the national teams level the story is always the same.
The GFA has repeatedly cheated almost every coach it has employed.
Moneys for salaries agreed upon in the contract terms are always violated by the FA.
How many times did Coach Kwesi Appiah had to grief for delayed & unpaid salaries?
C K Akunor had to sue the FA for moneys owed him. I am sure they dud not pay him all.
Why has Kurt Okraku held on to the money for Coach Otto ADDO, so that his only way to get his money is seek FIFA intervention. Very shameful
Almost every player that plays for Ghana has part of their monies taken or unpaid.
On the home club level, the story is similar. Most players are unpaid! Most bonuses are unpaid, and most pathetic of all many players are under valued and not paid their duly worth salaries in the Ghana premier league.
And here the two great clubs of Ghana Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko are the worse offenders.
We know as I write right now that the famous 64th battalion of Accra Hearts of Oak, that brought the team and the nation Great Continental Honours and glory are still owed their promised money.
Few years ago, Skipper Emmanuel Osei Kuffour came on air from his base in the United States expressing his anger over failed financial arrangements by the Harr Zakor management and Hearts board members of the time.
No wonder Ghana has failed miserably on all all levels of football over the last 25 years.
Cheating sportsmen and women has serious consequences and dangerous repercussions.
THE CURRENT MINISTER FOR SPORTS (KOFI ADAMS) MUST ENSURE COACH OTTO ADDO AND ALL OTHERS ARE FULLY PAID MONIES OWED THEM WITH INTEREST AND APOLOGY.
