This is not a job we can afford to play fiddlesticks with and based on recent History you'll have to be an exceptional individual with exceptional technical and administrative capacity and a proven track record to touch it.
Dede, with all due respect to his football talent and respectable career, is a neophyte and cannot possess the transformative acumen not the critical charisma we require to make our soccer great again.
Clapping one's hands and shouting nebulous mantras in the dressing room is definitely not it.
Nothing personal against the young man.
We cannot continue to proffer deliberate medicrity as a benchmark for everything in this country to satisfy the private political benefits of a self-serving minority group to the exclusion and disadvantage of the collective.
Even for the blind, is it not obvious enough now that our "failures" have been systematically engineered??? The question to ask is WHY and to who's benefit?????

Now I am beginning to understand why Ghana football has come to standstill. The emergence of one-man club owners, like Bechem United, who have the means but not the gumption, are the major factor of our problems. This guy thinks GFA President is solely for Black Stars. No. The Black Stars have a management team. The GFA President is primarily for football administration, development and organization in the country. With this in mind I think Dede Ayew is now at level 100. He needs at least 3 more years of residency to study the whole Ghana football setup. Dede's father, Abedi, was the first recipient of the Colts player of the year. The award was a full scholarship to Tamale Secondary school. Abedi started playing for RTU while he was a student at Tamale. We actually need someone who can revive inter school sports. Abdul Razak started his soccer career with Kumasi Cornerstones while he was in Middle School. Being a former Captain of the Black Stars is not an asset because there are 2 former Captains, Appiah and Asamoah Gyan, ahead of him. They are superior because they rose through the ranks of Ghana football.

If such a person like Osei Bonsu exhibited poor judgement by supporting Kurt Okraku a second time to retain the GFA presidency despite his abysmal record of failure, how he and his ilk tell us who deserves to be the next GFA president. Illiteracy and lack of critical thinking are two of the biggest problems with our people.
Until the people and leaders start electing or appointing people into positions of power based on merit, not based on favor, tribe, sentiments, etc., every area in the country will not move forward.

What the bechem United man says is right. One has to understand the logic behind. The Ayew family for all their sacrifices to the Nation, are hated out sheer jealousy. Majority of those who question everything aligned to them, are Akans more specifically Ashantis. Ayew is more educated, speaks French fluently, in CAF, most countries speak French, Ghana as a nation is mostly surrounded by french countries. This advantages help when the national teams travel. Asamoah Djan was a good player but not educated enough to wear this crown
