If Kurt Okraku had focused on building the colts and youth football supply line with proper scouting and and grooming of the best talent in the country after 7+ years as GFA president, the Black Stars will have no problem filling positions of players who get injured. Instead Okraku selects players for the youth team from his personal teams and teams of his cronies in the GFA for quick money and most are low standard. So, how do we build a solid bench or competitive positions?

Mr Kiki what you are saying about the colts and youth system is good but their managers and the parents will not allow them to mature. Before you know they will leverage them to unknown clubs in Europe and their carriers will stall. We shall come back to blame the FA and leave the main culprits. My suggestion is that the government should build football academies in all the regions and enrole the best talents. They shall be onwned by the government and be managed by the NSA. For that they will receive good education and modern football knowledge. The NSA will benefit from their sales to the right teams in mainstream Europe when they are matured and the country will also benefit from recall to the various national teams.

Good idea. If the government can invest in vocational training schools, then it can also invest in soccer training academy schools which is mixed with actual book studies just in case some of the young fail at soccer.

@J.A - That is why we elect and appoint LEADERS to solve the nation's problems, not people who just assess problems like the everyday person. What you are describing can also happen in Senegal, Morocco, England, France, etc., so why doesn't it happen in those places? Because they have LEADERS who can think through coming up with solutions to problems, not just worshipping problems and "hoping" things change. What you described can easily be fixed with strict regulations and contracts from the FA and Sports ministry on player sales, transfers, etc. Ask yourself why you cannot do what you described with young talent in England, but you can sell players willy-nilly in Ghana to teams abroad unchecked? We don't have LEADERS who can solve problems. That is the difference.

If it is true that he is injured then that's bad news for his career. Perennial injuries will derail any athletes career no matter how good they are.

The No. 10 Jersey he won when Dede Ayew was around and he being made a captain over Jordan Ayew provoked the Ayew family to cast a spell on him. He will never be himself again.

Nonsense. What has jersey number got to do with this. The EPL is too rough for Kudus style of play. He should move to Spain or France and he will be fine.
