It is very obvious from where I stand that Kurt Okreku lack the capacity and competence to manage Ghana Football. One of the glaring reason for his poor performance is his willingness to pursue a self-seeking agenda rather than help develop the Country's football. He is clearly and have been known to be in a position of conflict of interest by owning a club and deeply involve in the business of sale of players and as an agent. This is why he is neck- deep in meddling with the management of the Black Stars, especially player selection. As far as I am concerned, Mr. Kurt Okreku views the Black Stars as a money-making machine. The Black Stars is essentially a private corporate enterprise owned by the current FA President, Kurt Okreku. If I were the President or the Sports Minister, I will revoke Mr. Okreku's contract and dissolve the GFA at the expense of anticipated sanctions by FIFA, if that is the fear of the Mahama Government. The other option is to call for an early congress, campaign against him and boot him because he has absolutely nothing to offer as an FA President. It is about time the GFA be headed by a retired or Ex-Footballer, who played and served the national team, particularly for those players with longevity of service, like Dede Ayew. The Countries currently doing well in African Football have ex-players at the helm of affairs. In a serious Country, where corruption and administrative malpractices for selfish gains is not the modus operandi of multitudes as Institutional Heads in vital position of responsibility in service to the State, Kurt Okreku would have honourably resign by now. The usual syndrome of corrupt tendencies, avid greed and avarice typical of the Ghanaian top public servant, is making him hang on despite total failure , with the hope that we will make noise and soon forget about his gross ineptitude and incompetence in football administration. A measure of how low we have sang as a footballing nation by allowing overt rot to fester in the GFA, is a soccer minnow like Gambia overrunning a 2 goal deficit, to beat us 4-2 on our own soil(4 goals in the second half- averaging a goal in every 10 minutes).
