The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is set to kick off, with all 18 clubs preparing for another demanding campaign under the guidance of their respective head coaches.

From experienced title winners to coaches taking on new challenges, the league will feature a mix of familiar faces and new appointments in the dugouts.

Here is a look at the coaches who will be responsible for steering the 18 clubs through the new season.

Medeama SC – Ibrahim Tanko

The experienced Ibrahim Tanko will lead Medeama into the new campaign after guiding the club to the 2025/26 Premier League title.

Swedru All Blacks – Kobina Amissah

Nana Kwaku Agyemang takes charge of FC Samartex and will be looking to build on the club’s previous success in the competition.

Karela United – Nurudeen Amadu

Nurudeen Amadu brings his experience to Karela United, with the coach facing the task of producing a strong campaign for the club.

Bechem United – Mohammed Bashar Ogba

Mohammed Bashar Ogba will be in the Bechem United dugout as the club prepares for another season among Ghana’s elite.

Young Apostles – Abdul Henan

Abdul Henan takes charge of Young Apostles and will be hoping to guide the side to a successful campaign.

Debibi United – Isaac Nii Armah

Heart of Lions – Kasım Gökyıldız
