I wonder whether the GFA really understand the dynamics of current foot. Now coaching staff is departmental, we have goal keepers coach, defenders coach, midfielders coach and attackers coach who are managed by the head coach. So it is about time we invest in these kinds of talents to raise need crop of football stars locally and stop depending on the kids from abroad.

In fact, you can't compare this man's coaching powess to any of our current coaches.
I can recall as young man, how this man rekindled the careers of Kwaku Manu, A name Kobo, George Arthur, Sarah Mensah, Opoku Sampane and Ntow Gyan when they returned a dead career from Kotoko, Germany and Ivory Coast respectively to achieve a higher heights in their careers again.
In fact he used to train all wingers how to cross balls to attackers for them to score beautiful goals including shootings to the goal. And they were amazing as his attackers turned good strikers and wingers.
Unfortunately, we did not give such a great talent a chance.

Young ones like Joe Okyere and Nana Adarkwa also had their opportunities as well to reach higher highs in their careers through you.
Unfortunately, your age wouldn't permit you to travel far from home to western Region, I wouldn't have hesitated to engage you as a manager of my intended football academy in Elubo.

Akwasi Owusu also spelled as Kwasi Wusu was nicknamed Power House for his ferocious shots. Akwasi Owusu was in higher demand from the clubs in Ghana and Nigeria more than Dan Owusu. Dan Owusu achieved what he achieved partly because of Akwasi Owusu. Reason was that defenders attention was always on Akwasi Owusu. That allowed Dan Owusu the freedom to score goals. Further more, Akwasi provided crucial assists to Dan Owusu.
In terms of goal scoring abilities Abukari Gariba "goal nama fefe" tops them all.
I salute Dan Owusu of what he has done for Ghana.
I wish him all the best in his personal endeavors.
