Well done Yaw. The fact that you've even identified the cause of the deplorable state of these facilities is commendable and ingenious. Since when in recent history have we heard or seen the CEO's of the NSA analyze the problems of our facilities in this manner, and even proffering solutions like these? The fools as usual are here to condemn you. The fact that you oversaw the pitch protection concept, the first of it's kind in my own memory, is a feather in your cap. Even if it ever happened, why didn't it become a culture? You've proved that if given the resources, you can deliver. It has been seen over the years how the regime of maintaining the pitches have swung between good and bad. I believe your suggestion of engaging the private sector's involvement is highly laudable since the state alone has failed to sustain the maintenance of the facilities. Please, if it's possible, don't even hesitate to even SELL the facilities to foreigners who may have excellent plans in place to maintain the facilities ALL YEAR ROUND. The average Ghanaian has proved INCOMPETENT and DUMB at rising up to the task. Honestly, the Ghanaian is so incompetent, lazy and to make it worse, DISRESPECTFUL, that, their sense of entitlement when they are entrusted with managing such places is just nauseating. You have a poor Ghanaian coming to BEG to be a cleaner in the washrooms, but give him a few months into the job and see his true colors of disrespectfullness at play. They'll not clean, and when their supervisors question them, they gather the courage to insult. Honestly, the whole country must be sold to the WHITE MAN. Oh yes.
