Long Overdue. Till 1998 France was regarded as perennial underachievers in football.Establishment of their National Academy changed the narration. Ghana shd however NOT deal with GFA. The laws for the creation of National Sports Authority shd be review to allow them handle that project Experts from Europe & elsewhere can be hired to assist them just like what Morocco is doing.

What do you mean by wrong approach? Without Govt intervention there's no way Ghana can get a National Academy. Govt shd however make sure GFA do not get closer, they're hardened Thieves.

These structures mean nothing if we don't have the knowledge or the requisite skills and that's the CRUX OF THE MATTER! The people running sports in Ghana don't know shite about sports!

National football leagues(premier,division1,2,3) have collapsed,U17& U20 which are nursing grounds for BS are unable to go to WC due to alleged manipulation of selection to weed out talented but unconnected players for financial gain by the FA and Exco members, collapsed of inter-schools and INDAFA football competitions etc, etc. This has been the situation since the exit of Nyantakyi and the advent of the present FA& Exco situation they must exit honourably and not wait to be pushed.

The national players from the other countries were not raised by private academies. The introduction of the private soccer accamies has been the downfall of our football talent hunt. Even some od them have better players than the ones playing in the local local league but they are sold out for money too early. To chad and latvia and cosovo. And Mauritania and Burundi. But you can't blame them who should work for one to eat. It's time the nation gets It's own academy like the Nkrumah time. That's what made ghana win the afcon trophies we are proud of. Private man wants his profit. The nation wants It's glory. Two different entities.

Stupid ideas all over again. We were once great until 2014 in the case of the Black Stars. In all things wrong with Ghana the administrators are to be blamed for poor job done due to selfishness and greed. National Academy what a useless idea as we did not have that until the NPP/NDC era. Let us fix our leagues by doing what we did in the 70s by getting at least a team each from each region judt like the NBA and get the whole nation involved in the National League which at the moment has about five team from one region. Half of the regions do not even have a league team and talents are wasted in those areas. Well organised football does not need a funding structure as it is good business like we had in the olden days. A fund to pay a foreign coach $50,000 a month for what Coach CK Gyamfi, Jones Attuquatfio and Kwasi Appiah did for less than 10% of that and did goods too. What happens to the Fifa money?
