Every Ghanaian is an "Expert" but look at a country full of "Experts" and their behavior. People who criticize everything are themselves "NOTHING". Currently, we don't have the players who made Ghana a feared football nation so, what the hell are these so-called "Experts" talking about?
Ghana had employed the services of the Brazilian coach who led them to the 1994 World Cup in the US, and did Ghana win the world cup with his service? We have destroyed what made Ghana's football a success and replace it with something that had no "Head or Tail" so, what are we talking about?

Subject: Analysis of Coaching Philosophies: Carlos Queiroz vs. Otto Addo
Dear Dan Kwaku Yeboah,
I hope this finds you well. I have been following your recent commentary regarding the Black Stars, particularly your assertion that there is "no difference" between the appointment of Carlos Queiroz and our former coach, Otto Addo. While I always value your perspective as a veteran journalist, I believe that comparing their records—especially in the context of the World Cup—shows two very different realities.
If we look at their most recent World Cup group stages, the results and the way those campaigns "fell" tell different stories:
Otto Addo (2022, Group H): In a group with Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay, Ghana showed great attacking spirit but struggled with defensive consistency. We finished at the bottom of the group with 3 points (a 3–2 win over South Korea) and failed to progress despite a historic chance to eliminate Uruguay. It was a campaign of high emotion but tactical vulnerability.
Carlos Queiroz (2022, Group B): Managing Iran, Queiroz faced England, Wales, and the USA. While they suffered a heavy opening loss to England, his team showed remarkable grit to beat Wales 2–0. They finished with 3 points as well, but his history shows a "defensive wall" philosophy. In 2018, his team nearly knocked out Spain and Portugal, conceding only two goals in the entire group.
To say there is no difference ignores the five World Cups of experience Queiroz brings to the table compared to Addo’s one. Queiroz is an architect of defensive stability, whereas Addo was more of a scout and man-manager who focused on individual adaptability.
With Ghana now facing Panama, England, and Croatia in the upcoming June tournament, the rigid structure Queiroz is known for might be exactly what is needed to avoid the defensive lapses we saw in Qatar.
I would be interested to hear your thoughts on whether you think the current squad is even capable of playing the "Queiroz way," or if you believe the structural challenges in our football make any coach's resume irrelevant.
Best regards,
M. Yero
