What then was the referee doing up to 17 minutes? If the fault came from the referee why should Senegal suffer and not the referee? Why did CAF sanction Morocco and Senegal for their respective breaches during the match?
Has the prize money not been paid out to the Senegal FA yet? And CAF expects a return of that money? What about the medals to the players of both sets of teams? Are the players to reassemble and return them? Africa! Africa? A bunch of jokers. Who can take us serious anywhere in the world with such mindset?

I think the CAF Committee failed AFCON miserably in their decision to strip Senegal of its hard fought for African Soccer Championship title and gave it to Morocco, the opponent team.
According to CAF, their decision was based on AFCON Rule, Article 82, which states that "if a team leaves the field without the official refree permission, it will be considered the loser".
I believe the correct interpretation of the Rule 82 should be that, if a team leaves the field without the official refree permission, even if, the team is leading, once there's some play time left, it will be declared the loser. That actually makes sense, because in a game of soccer a minute left to play can change a game's outcome or result.
So, since Senegal walked off the field when the score was zero, zero and was allowed to return to the field to continue playing, that in itself nullify any consideration to declare it the loser. The fact that Senegal came back to play and beat Morocco by alone goal at the end of of play time, it makes no sense that the CFA Committee should strip Senegal of its hard won African Soccer Championship title.
I think, by their action, the members of the CFA Committee don't deserve to act on behalf of AFCON going forward. To be blunt, the members have to be sacked.
