  This pastor is very naive, he probably has never travelled to any advanced country before. At the airport, in order to trap you, the Oyibo can deliberately ask you a question that would suggest that your services might be needed and ask you if you would consider working for a bit (for your short stay in the country), and if you say yes, your final destination could be the airport - you could be deported immediately.
