German side Bayer Leverkusen have sarcastically cautioned Premier League giants Arsenal about set pieces ahead of their game on March 11, 2026.

The club’s official account on X posted a picture of a signboard placed at the corner arc with the inscription: “No corners allowed.”

The post attracted wild reactions on social media, drawing over 68,000 likes and sparking banter among football fans in the comments ahead of the clash.

UCL Round of 16: Bayern and Atletico shine, Barcelona and Liverpool left wanting

Arsenal currently lead Europe with 24 Premier League goals from corners this season, thanks to precise deliveries from Bukayo Saka and Ben White, and powerful headers from Gabriel Magalhães.

The post was intended to ridicule the Premier League leaders’ strength from set pieces and add spice to the atmosphere before the match.

This triggered mixed reactions from fans and officials online, some praised Leverkusen for their mind games, while others advised the club to focus on the match instead of unnecessary trolling.

Arsenal remain heavy favorites, having won all their matches in the 2025/2026 Champions League season, while continuing their push in the title race.
