Dede, despite everything he has done for the country, should never be selected for this tournament. Even if he is selected, he should be the first player to voluntarily excuse himself for the love of the country and give the opportunity to the young players. I’m sure government and party officials will be scrambling to take bribes and add their own players to the team. This is what’s killing Ghana football, and it’s a shame.

Currently he is old and doesn't have:
- the high level of technical skills (dribbling, passing and shooting)
- superior physical attributes (stamina, speed and strength)
- intense game intelligence or awareness
- he lacks a strong mental fortitude, composure and pressure to compete.
I didn't mean to take anything away from Ayew passed skills, but the truth shall be told, and age matter.
