This is no spectacular save. Most goalkeepers can save this not too powerful shot.
Let's not shower unnecessary praises on a half baked and growing goalkeeper.

This kind of saves are routine for Ati Zigi as he makes them on a regular basis. Check his performance in the last WC.

Definitely Asare is good but not good enough to in the post of Black Stars against Any European strikers and the World Cup not at all please Ghanaians understand that he go to the World Cup but he can no man the post even his size doesn’t command that needed intensity and pressure plus trough rough rouge players of European nations .
What is Ghana premier league ? Peanuts.
who is even a striker at any European striker caliber ?
Who can even shoot from a 40 yarder in the so call premier league?
Asare will be a toast if you want to challenge… don’t hide him ….expose him to the friendly games and you will see what the Germans will do to us..
just get the Oduro guy period case close

I will only be convinced if Asare mans the post in our upcoming friendlies against Germany and Austria and puts up a good performance against world class strikers.

It is only in Ghana that a 3rd choice goalkeeper is put in the goal post when the Black Stars is playing a high profile match and the first choice goalkeeper is put in the goal post when they are playing a low profile match. An example is when Ghana played against Japan and Korea, if not wickedness and sabotaging, how can a coach put a new invited and 3rd choice goalkeeper in the post when the team is playing against Asian giant Japan but then a few days later you put your first choice goalkeeper in the post against a weaker side like Korea. They are repeating the same thing, Asare will miss the Germany game but will be in the post against Austria, I pity the keeper they will put in the post against Germany. Fatawu Dauda is the one who is convincing Schaeffer to do that,
