America is much media pluralist that any country but check whether DSTV has been given the right to compete with the local television network?
The problem is how to curtail the influx of foreign products. Just look at what Sam George did, he was so bold to tell us he fought for a reduction of DSTV subscription.
The only choice we have now is to go into co-operste association football with no relagation just as the Americans.
We can mo longer go the UEFA way since theirs and well grounded in terms of funding.
We should just have teams own by investors and have them choose their own basses which will help them reap from their investment same as America.

Why don't we screen the EPL matches in our stadia (stadiums) before the GPL matches for free.

In those days there was no internet and no access to watch foreign matches live. I agree with a new approach so our local football interest can move forward but it has to do with our mind set first- We Africans are so brainwashed that we think anything foreign is best yet turn back to complain when things go bad in our back yard. We never look inward for solutions. Ghana football at the moment is almost dead if not dead. Great Accra Hearts of oak is the best though- by the way. Cooome on phobia.

Unemployment rate must be reduced drastically.
The general take-home pay levels must be increased.
Easier and affordable transportation system will help significantly.
And security on match days must be beefed up across the land.
If these things and others are put in place, attendance will reasonably increase. But will corruption permit us?
