  Why not discipline this corrupt referee who nearly marred the final. The Senegal Coach deserves praise for standing up to injustice and corruption which this game actually highlighted. How was the Senegal goal disallowed for a start let alone the dodgy last minute penalty they conceded. Africa should learn from the Senegal coach and walk out if these corrupt refereeing decisions against Africa start in the World cup. This has gone on for far too long. This final will always be a stain on Afcon for the disgraceful behaviour of the referee. Africans should stand up for this brave Senegal coach. Well done Coach. History will never forget you.

  Yes, when is CAF going to start investigation into the biased officiating by the Congolese referee? The referee awarded ticky-tacky fouls against the Senegalese, including numerous yellow cards, just to break their spirit. He however ignored the Moroccans' cheap shot against the Senegalese even after a foul has been awarded.
  The worse part was awarding a fake foul against the Senegalese when they were about to score. In fact, the foul should have been called against Hakimi, the Moroccan captain.

Shame to the bad officials. Congratulations to both Senegal and Morocco for such an entertaining match until that bad decision from the referees. The two teams are fantastic they should concentrate on the world cup. Senegal and Morocco will do fantastic at the World Cup. Shame again to the officials. The Senegalise coach will go to the world cup.

  Games are to be officiated fairly until the final whistle! Senegal's rejected 'goal' was scored after Hakimi was pushed down, offensive foul, period. Not a referee's discretion or decision. The other way round and it would have been a penalty as well. Then comes the moment that everybody is talking about. Football is not an MMA or Wrestling Game. When you pull a player down by the neck, it is a foul. Fouls are not determined by how many minutes we have left on the clock. That is one reason the VAR is also not turned off until the final whistle. Gone are the days when teams, especially from Africa, will route their opponents to dust filled fields, score goals with hands or through other rough tactics, towards the end and claim to win games. The referee deserves praise, not name calling for calling the game to the end. DID THE REFEREE AND THE VAR PEOPLE TELL THE SENEGALESE PLAYER TO PULL DIAZ DOWN BY THE NECK?

  Where is the evidence for the referee bring corrupt? Just peoples feelings? Anyone making these claims - please provide actual evidence. All of this reminds me why I used to dislike football so much. I admire the skills and intelligence of the players but the whole thing sometimes looks like a huge exercise in divide and rule. People used to say in the UK that without football to get out all their anger their would be a revolution. When I lived near a major stadium I started to think this could be true. I don't want change via a revolution but I'd prefer if people didn't all hate each other over stupidity.
