  We exhibit so much foolishness in dealing with our sportsmen and women. All manner of debts are being settled by the new government and the sports minister cannot take advantage and settle all the teams they owe? Not necessarily football but other sporting disciplines and had to wait till a crucial encounter before taking action? Is it an African curse? Because we heard of similar nonsense regarding some of the teams at the AFCON. But we have never heard of the minister and his officials crying about their salaries and benefits not being paid. This makes it easy for us to measure their selfishness.

They act only when they see the possibility of Ghanaians screaming at them for attempting to fail in especially our football. What led to the case in Brazil where the Black Stars had to hold the nation to ransom for money to be flown to them as if they had been kidnapped. This will not stop anywhere soon. Greedy and selfish people.

  It's indeed an African curse because even in governance many African leaders wake up only when there's a coup to overthrow them. Those who replace them come and copy what drove them out. And the cycle goes on and on as if that's what they discuss during their AU meetings. Good thing Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger are out of that nonsense we call AU summit.
