This is a mess up situation by FIFA. Why can't they play the group stage in one country or area? The 1st game will be in Toronto, Canada. Then they come to Boston, US for the 2nd game. Then travel to Philadelphia for the 3rd game. What kind of stupidity is this? So if you're from Ghana and want to come for the games, you have to get US visa as well as Canada visa. Then you have to book hotels in Toronto, Boston and Philadelphia. What kind of nonsense is this? I hope the participating countries will voice out their opinions and opposition to this poor arrangements by FIFA.

Those complaining about the match venues should note that Canada, USA and Mexico are all very big countries compared to Ghana.

Fifa decided that it wouldn't be right for fans to travel across the United States for the group matches. That is why they divided the three countries into three regions vertically: Eastern (that is where Ghana would be for its group stage matches), Central and Western. This is better than having the team play in Boston then fly to Los Angeles for a second match then fly again to Miami for a third match. That would be the equivalent of covering 6,000 miles between three matches.

There are various means of transportation between those three cities where Ghana would be playing. People could go by road (about 8 hours between Boston and Toronto), (about five hours drive between Boston and Philly), by train, by air etc.

New York to Philly shouldn't take two hours by road.

Remember most Ghanaians living in America live in the mid-Atlantic i.e. the big three states are: New York, Maryland and Virginia etc. This is actually really good for those in the mid-Atlantic who'd like to see Ghana play.
