All Otto Addo needs to do is first pick from the over 50 players who played in the qualifier.
Then the next criteria should be players who will be:
1. Ruthless and also have high work rate eg of such a guilty player is partey
2. Selfless and play simple without giving ball away unecessarily always giving ball away
3. Have high rate of recovery with 100 % both piercing and accurate passes.
4. Not lackadaisical players who looses balls cassually
5. Players who effort always work against the team but appearing like doing so much for the team. But if you analyse you see that or cobceeding goals are coming from him and example is Alidu Seidu.
6. Players who will joke with ball and loose the ball to opponent and commit an unecessary foul only to say they are tactical eg is Sibo
7. People who will hang on the ball so much to erase created chances instead of giving piercing passes to score or releasing balls in times like Kudus normally do to cause the team.
8. For the strikes or defenders in the penalty area balls are always headed down. When a strike is left with a goalkeeper the basic is dummy and placement and never power.
9. Our defenders in the penalty you aim the ball or make gestures that confuses or running across them is the key.
As a coach these should be part of your criteria for selection. In the world cup we are not looking forward to see such basic errors. If a player is not having his day or a players is being careless with his tackless and may pose numerical disadvantage change him and dont wait for 90mins. Substitutions should always be super and improve or up the game and not the reverse. This is why you need to pick the best role for each position. This means you must players who can be effective in atleast two positions. You must prove your worth or you are a waste of our time.
