The Black Stars, individually, and as a team played like a bunch of sheep bending to the will of the small statured Japanese with back passes. Stop making excuses for the club-bench-warmer, Kwasi Sibo. He, and some of your village champions you promote have no depth to compete at this level. He was exposed because he cannot hide behind Partey for his brownie points..

That Kwasi Sibo guy I really don't understand what he is doing in the BS. Last week I watched his team Real Oviedo in La Liga match. He came on as 83rd minute substitute and within 2 minutes he has conspired to cheaply give away to possession all leading to his opponents taking a shot at his goal post. He was just lucky on both occasions the ball went over the ball.
The guy is simply not good enough to play for BS.
In today's match the last 20 minutes was just mismatch. The Japanese were just playing the ball amongst themselves whist our players were chasing after their opponents shadow. And they had 2 or 3 good chances that they should have added to their tally.

It’s deja vous all over again. This stinking attitude of Black Stars players pulling out of games when they want is rearing its head again. Most of the first team players feel entitled and as such attach no importance to friendly games meant to prepare them mentally for the World Cup. Why did most of the first team players sat out from this game? This is not the first time. Most Black Stars players don’t feel committed to playing with their whole heart for the country. Trust me, this attitude and mentality will definitely follow them into the World Cup where they are bound to fall miserably unless stringent efforts are made to combat this lackadaisical attitude from the players.

All those players you mentioned are not even 'go to guys' in their respective clubs; Nketia is a bench warmer at CP and comes in the game around the 75th minute. He has scored one goal this season; some striker! Hudson-Odoi is another bench warmer at Forest; when he was good and playing for Chelsea, he didn't want to play for Bayern or the Black Stars. Now you want us to go and take these players to WC? Ghana should not be the place where under-achievers get their WC dreams fulfilled!

Otto Addo football is not always about systems and testing and only technical but about humans, players and the beautiful game. Why so complicated? Announcing team hey, announcing squad even for friendly hey, selecting players hey, system of play hey? Back pass to keeper all the way. No ball progression and no hurriedness by defenders. Otto sets team to play without the ball, not to force issue, fast counter or be aggressive in attack. Very horrible to watch the death of the beautiful game. Football without soul

Our Keepers play with the ball at the back, wingers pass back and don’t cross quickly or cut in, midfielders are hesitating their passes and not supporting each one, strikers are defending too much they don’t goal poach. Brazil or Portugal will kill us if we don’t get it right. They players are blind to each other.

The 2006 - 2015 generation was Ghana's absolut peak in terms of Blackstars squad. This team which included great players like Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari, KP Boateng, Essien, Asamoah Gyan, Young Dede Ayew, Jonathan Mensah, Agyemang Badu, Harrison Afful, Richard Kingston and Wakaso were capable of beating not only Japan but any opponent in the world no matter what coach had been on the sideline. In the current generation we only have 2 or 3 (at max)good-ish players namely Partey and Kudus. the problem have started when ghanaians demanded local coaches and villagers as technical staff by any means and also the young upcoming talents turned down offers from clubs outside of the premier league. They all want to play EPL or nothing now but if you look closely - only very few Ghanaians have managed to be succesful in the EPL as the league is known to be a career killer especially for africans or non english players e.G Christian Atsu. They go there thinking they will be given warm welcome and that they have time to adapt and develop like in bundesliga serie a or la liga only to end up in a loanee program and eventually play for karabach in the azerbaijani league in just one transfer period. these are just some of our major problems in football but Ghana, as a country, of course face many many other deeply rooted problems with the biggest being corruption amongst our greedy leaders

We only tried moving forward after we were 2 goals down and that in itself is bad. Why do you have to go down by 2 goals before you start to react? We should be better prepared otherwise we wouldn't go past the preliminary rounds in the World Cup! I'm very disappointed about our style of play!!

Otto Addo did you scout Japan properly? If you did then why continue to encourage slow build up football? Why are our defenders too slow to pass a ball? We had so many counter attack opportunities but we had no plan and kept losing the ball. We did not have Kudus and Ayew to hold and draw fouls which it seems the only way Otto Addo knows to progress the ball so no plan B. The way Otto sets up team gives our opponents even Comoros too much respect. We don’t hurry to take the game to teams. Otto Addo talks too much tactics and systems but don’t know how to let players breathe easy or play the fast tempo that Bournemouth and others play. Ireland beat Portugal with heart and tempo so why this slow paced game is something else. Otto Addo you like grinding game too too much
