What your management could have done was to augment the squad with players from other teams here (Ghana) or other African clubs. The CAF tournament is not for “minnows”. Your defeat, though painful, A very reliable information had it that the Moroccan team was very considerate because of the good relationship between Ghana and Morocco other than that kotoko would have “swallowed 12 goals! This is to serve as a warning to the Black Stars’ management that beefing up a team, especially a national team is not being ungrateful to players who have been in camp for “long time “ because before they, the current players were were called, many others were kicked out. Almost every Ghanaian is kicking against Eddie and Hudson-Odoi inclusion because of their so-called unpatriotic stance. Why are we so forgetful? Check out this history: Mohammed Salisu was begged over and over during the the qualifiers to join the Black Stars but he decided over and over but when we qualified he rescinded his refusal and was subsequently invited to join the team for the last World Cup in 2022. I hear some parliamentarians are preaching about “ patriotism”. Oh Ghana, who has bewitched us! Parliamentarians who love their party than the nation are touting “patriotism” ….. Faaabrim; better luck next time. And to black stars, is the kotoko defeat telling us something?
