Please, GFA and the sports ministry must act swiftly to avoid this news from spreading further. It's quite unfortunate hearts of oak legends always die as pauper compared. Please, now sports is business and it must be seen as such. Make a business out of it by creating wealth in the players.

  Such painful news from Ghana will bring shame to the whole country. Something definitely went wrong somewhere, and the root cause should be investigated, but it should not have ended up being published like this.

  And those of you alive "if you want to see death look at sleep". Use this as an example. Make sure you have enough money for your bills before you enter any Ghanaian hospital. Because they will take your dead body hostage. Not only that, whilst you are dead the nurses will insult you saaaa until your family pays the bill.
  
  Otherwise you make sure your hospital bed is strategically positioned in the corridor, so the moment you are dead you can do a quick dash home for your family to find you where they can secure your body.
  
  This is Ghana where the dead will not Rest in Peace!

  But I know some block-headed elders will soon run up and down, borrowing money for a grand funeral thinking that because he was once a national football player, dignitaries will come with fat envelopes for them to pocket. They couldn’t help him while he was alive, but now they'll start planning and soliciting for funds to give him a befitting burial.
  
  If a man is not respected in life, what sense is there in giving him a ‘last respect’ in death? These days, funerals have become business ventures, not moments of truth or compassion.
