  Knowing my "fellow Ghanaians," many club owners will err on the side of the minimum salary cap.
  Personally, I think the minimum figures are nothing to gloat about. Some domestic assistants are receiving in excess of Ghs 1,000 with food and lodging.
  
  We will continue to lose players to lesser leagues like Guinea, where AS Kamsar was paying USD 1,500-2,000 a month to Ghanaian players.
  
  Even those clubs currently paying net salaries of 5-8k mpo is still woefully inadequate for a professional footballer.
  
  Football is big business, and only those who genuinely commit will make the big bucks.
  
  The commercial side of our game is still floundering. Players will go to San Marino for a net of USD 1,000 a month !
  
  It certainly makes economic and social sense to do so, no matter the matter.

  This is peanut. Please GFA, improve on getting more sponsors and matchday attendance to raise funds and pay the players better. What is C1,500 (US$137) and C700 (US$64)? It is woefully very little.

  Hmmmm, so sad, the state of affairs in Ghana's Premier league!! When players in the EPL are taking over 50,000 pounds sterling and upwards per week, players in Ghana are taking about 90 pounds sterling per month by today's exchange rate, hmmm. They will be collecting this salaries with tears in their eyes when they know how much some are earning per week abroad!!!
