These idiots still believe in colts and shit. News flash!!!! Things have changed. The best players are scouted, scavenged, and shipped off early. The late bloomers and the sankwass players are the ones left in the GPL. Question: what do you think these surplus local players can do without the foreign players?

Bro, I understand his point. The foreign based players are not as hungry as the local ones because, they've already secured their contracts abroad something every local player prays for. Watching the boys play, I had the same thoughts. Trust me if they've used the best u20 players from Ghana premier league and division 1&2, we could've done better in my opinion, but its all good. Then again using local based players would've gotten some players noticed and contracts abroad which will help the quality of our black stars in future. But there is no guarantee that they would've done any better as most of the countries also fielded foreign based players

The insults are gradually replacing sensible thought provoking discourse,Alagidede has a point in his submission, national teams selections are open to all qualified Ghanaians but our teams selectors appear to take the lazy and easier approach of selecting foreign based players who they believe are ‘ready made’ but the disadvantage in that is the inability to qualify for the WC due to lack of team cohesion and it is taking a serious toll on the senior national team,as usual the current FA cannot escape blame because the members are all player owners/managers whose sole purpose for their presence in the FA is the promotion of players of their choice and this happens in all the teams so we should not expect any success anywhere soon.

These foreign based players did not get to their foreign teams by playing Ampe. They form a nucleus of the cream of the crop, exposed to some of the best coaching any player can get. Where some of these players play at are where some of the local players want to be. There is an incentivized reason why a good scout will pick a good player and leave the bad player in Ghana. MOST of the players left in Ghana are leftovers after scouting. NOTE, i did not say all of them are bad.

You never complained until the team was eliminated so where from this argument ? If you have nothing to say but shut up.

He should keep his stupid comments to himself. National Security should give such people a stern warning. Such comments are just stupid, full of greed and no national interest. Everyone saw what the team did. The boys played well. Their fair play was recognized. Missing penalties has nothing to with local or foreign. I hate such comments with passion!!!

Stop playing old style because modern strikers are trained to be very aggressive.
For your information, most football analysts saw Ghana team as the best in the tournament.

Until we massively invest to improve the quality of our players, locally, none of our national teams will clinch anything meaningful.

Do we believe we can produce. better players when. we have some of the best athletes in the world. We let tribalism and regionalism mare our ability to choose the best among us and this results in getting paid by players abroad who claim to be Ghanaian who are picked to represent Ghana when they cannot represent the countries they live in. They play for Ghana with neither pride nor conscience. The only way we are going to get out of the doldrums we have put ourselves is to learn to trust each other. YEN
