    Razak was African footballer of the year in 1978. He also won the best player in the AFCON competition played in Ghana in 1978. Polo was in the Black Stars team of that competition.

    TRUE, MOHAMMED POLO WAS COMING OUT OF AN INJURY & THEREFORE DID NOT PLAY SIGNIFICANT ROLES IN THAT TOURNAMENT, BUT IN HIS PLACE ON THE LEFT WING WAS AGYEMANG PREMPEH OF KOTOKO & NOT KUNTU BLANKSON.
