  if the tables were trned you liverpool will say its business and infact it is sports business. instead of the emotional fans blaming the player. liverpool should blame themselves. you had the chance to extend the players contract at least 2 yrs befpore he was done. that way, if another club came calling you would have recieved something from his leaving but for reasons best known to you. you chose not to extend his contract. expeting that no other club would come for his services. well, your gamble didnt pay off. to the player arnold, it meant you liverpool didnt value his services. real madrid came calling and you liverpool couldnt meet the offer so you are forced to allow arnod to walk, free. liverpool should come out and communicate to the fans to stop chastising arnold. he has been an exemplary player for the club. it is you liverpool the organization that gambled, expecting to bid less on the players and your gamble fell flat on its face. now, you have learnt sense and quickly signed salah and virgil. a big, rich club like liverpool always want to play el cheapo and petty. blame yourself
