Has Paintsil had any success with coaching even a national youth team before? Does Paintsil even have a real coaching certificate? How did Ghana's national team, the pride of Africa fall this low? Please sack Kurt Okraku and Randy Abbey and don't even mention Paintsil who right before he was appointed under Otto said there were no problems with the Black Stars.

Ghana used to always feature in every under - 17, 20 world cup etc. We have not qualified for any of these in at least a decade. How do we 'groom' quality players to eventually play for the Black Stars? It is not the coach; it is player quality!

What I meant was, Ghana's national team name had a standard and meant a lot in Africa, and now we can't even qualify for competitions. It has gotten far far worse under Kurt Okraku's and Randy Abbey's leadership in the GFA. We no longer have a functional colts structure that should feed our league and national teams with the right talent, and therefore, we have to go foreign each time. The foreign Ghanaians don't play with each other long enough to build a strong team so that is the root cause. The leadership is doing nothing about it so Kurt Okraku and Abbey must be removed. In fact, they don't even think there is a problem at all.

and introduction as one of the assistants to the national coach of the BLACK STARS.
We are in 2025, and having failed in the qualiers for the afcon in 2024, the world cup in 2026 will be so hard to miss on the trot.

How can Charles Taylor thinks so naively. Paintsil as No.2 or No.3 Man was part of a clueless losing team. Indeed a sinking boat that has sunk and you said he should rise up from the pit to be the captain of the next Ship. Again what good did he bring to the black stars from his playing days to date? Nothing. Rather he introduced the SENIOR verse JUNIOR players dichotomy, such that senior players vow that the cannot sit on bench to watch junior players play even when old age, poor stamina and indiscipline are their lot. The point is that John Paintsil has failed Ghanaians woefully. He's just a selfish jollyman who cared not when we lost matches. All he cared about was himself.
