  see am. did you take any courses in policy or government? sports administration is never managed at the cabinet level. it must be championed from the bottom up. why you ask? because those at the botton are the ones who are epxerts and must draw up agendas that will benefit the country. there is a reason why we have presidents at gfa, gh athletics, gh boxing, swimming, basketball etc. those presidents are what we have as far as experts in their field. a sports minister is not an expect in sports just a middle man pushing budgets between ministries. ofcourse, any paper that comes across their desk must be inflated at taxpayers expense. how many nations have a sports minsistry? youth and recreation should not be a cabinet ministry either. do u sani even understand what recreation is? Recreation is at the municipal level. ever heard of keepfit clubs? corporate run/walk programs? milo marathon etc these are all municipal n more municipalities should be encouraged to align themselves with corporations n organizations to roll out such rec programs. each city needs a recreational park. in toronto there is high park. in nyc there is central park. ama should use city revenue to make achimota forest a receational park that can be accessed by cars n humans. if gfa identifies a need for a training facility for national teams. they must contact finance ministry n present their proposal. not sports ministry/chobo ministry
