Now it appears just about every African country has caught up with Ghana and is faced with stiff competition. Ghana hasn't done anything dramatic to gain its previous status so now it is stuck in a quagmire.

  Coah Otto Addo should have himself to blame for the current poor form of the Black Stars. He sought to rely on names and teams players play for instead of performance. Prioritizing names rather than performance is what has gotten us here. Does it matter is a player plays for Nungua United and can deliever results? Rather, he chooses to go for the Inskis and Samenyos because they play for big teams. A tier two player like Brandon Asante and s local player like Afriyie can deliever better than all the current strikers we have. Our defensive line up currently is the most porous defence since the Black Stars were formed. Something urgent has to be done about the defensive line up. A word to the wise?
