  This issue started way back CK Akonnor, Samuel Osei Kuffour, Stephen Appiah, John Mensah, Asamoah Gyan, and now Dede Ayew were all not treated fairly.

You can make Jesus Christ himself the captain, if the TEAM does not play well we will lose.

  What did this Prince Tagoe win football-wise for Ghana to qualify him to continually make so much public noise about our national football team captaincy issues? Our players must begin to behave & play as pure professionals and quit all the fruitless concerns about captaincy issues. It is a total distraction from the focus of the team, and must end. Brazil’s legend, Cafu, one of the best & greatest right full backs, never won the so-called “World Best” or Balon d`ior”, but captained The Selecao (Brazil National Team) or “The Selected Ones” with Rivaldo, Ronaldo the goal-scoring phenom, and Ronaldinho in the team. They conquered The World with Cafu firstly collecting & receiving & lifting the World Cup trophy to the glee & delight of all. What is wrong with our mentality regarding posts, positions, human recognition & fame which are all short-lived?

  Why should Essien be given the captaincy when on many occasions, he stayed with Chelsea under the guise of being injured so he cold play in England. At that point Ghana needed him so much but he turned his back on us. However Asamoah Gyan always showed up for his country even through injury. I don’t expect much from Prince Tagoe, notwithstanding the fact must be set out. Thomas Partey is doing the same thing Michael did, he should be banned from getting a call up
