  I think we must all be realistic. We are and have been a "third pot" team in Africa for awhile but our ability to qualify for World Cups in 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2022 has saved us from falling in the rankings. The painful reality is that we are now a team that can only pull off draws. We have to get lucky to win. We might win Tuesday only because Sudan does not have the best attack in the world. I can see a fluke goal and a penalty and we sneak out of Libya with a 2-1 win. We are fighting for second place. We cannot win the group. The last time we were good was the 2017 AFCON. Since then we have been a mediocre team getting lucky.

  What's happening in the black stars currently is the Coach's fault. It is happening due to this simple reason: the coach has to make each position competitive. Without that, it creates the typical style of games we are seeing with the stars. Our local players, who are good enough, have to be guaranteed that competing backup roles. Moreover, the coach has to pick and utilize our local league players who deem fit over the some of the foreign players operating lackadaisicaly. He ought to make new players just like we found Essien, Muntari, Stephen Appiah etc.. Ghana needs an experienced coach who could weed out some of the bad apples from the Black Stars.

  We simply do not have the talent at the local or international level. Our internationals are "Role players" on their European clubs. They are not the stars at their clubs.

  We do have talents at our local level. We were there that Barcelona recently picked up two of our talents. Moreover, if I look at the afcon, most of the players are locals or playing at somewhere within Africa. Even some of them are in our league that most don't respect but they do very well. It's about time that we begin to focus on nurturing our locals instead of concentrating solely on foreign based players. As we all have known, those foreign players who they don't want are the ones we take but fail to create competition in our team structure for them. In that regard, it breeds complacency - the nature of the current Black Stars.

They don’t play with passion, they slow games down, they waste game time while taking throw ins, corners and free kicks which gets wasted anyway. And they never pass the ball to whoever is in the best position to score.

  Look at how much our gov`ts invest in their political campaigns added to how much they mis-apply, misappropriate, and plainly steal, compared to the total expenditure on the training of players and sports generally?

  Respectfully, yesterday's draw is not the coach's fault. Players have to finish easy shots in the box. Semenyo, Kudus, Jordan, Williams and even the Djiku header are where the match was not won.

The players need self confidence not morale dampening statement. The team is not bad what is needed is a coach who will improve tactical discipline, stop over elaboration, one touch too many, bring in fire power upfront, fashion a game plan to contain opponents. After playing first leg did Otto note their game plan and what strategy Akwasi Appiah is likely to adopt. Our coach is simply not up to. the task. This is not the answer he should give.We have played with Sudan so many times. Although we beat them it is always a hard way. Every team in Africa has improved it is only the Ghana team that has become the whipping boys. Go for a good Serbian coach. Don't waste our time.
