He doesn’t pass the ball, selfish player, he alone wants to dribble to the post. The coach said it, in the second half, they played as a team. Kudus doesn’t know how to play as a team. That’s going to be his downfall.

What the manager said ".... in the second half, we played as A TEAM" should give Kudus clues. When you always try to dribble too many people, the opposing manager will always crowd you with multiple players to lose the ball. This can create an expensive counter attacking opportunity that can cost the team. Kudus is a good and talented player, but he needs to keep his game simple. He must minimize too much dribble and focus on incisive passes and crosses that create chances for the TEAM to score. You save lots of energy and minimize injury risks that way too.

It can be difficult for the young man. Who is Kudus without dribbling? I can understand your angle of argument but then it looks like Kudus may not do well under this manager with his style of play

Also slow build up, no urgency in the play of the team are not helping the team.
The Black Stars won in Mali because of the urgency the team attached to their play.
Since then it's been business as usual leading to poor performances.
Fast brakes put pressure on opposing defence to create mistakes and goals and Ottu Addo should be bold enough to address the issues

Well the Mali game really fooled many of us into thinking they superb. Our winning goal was essentially a gift after their defender gave the ball away.

That is Kudus's style a d Moyes leaned how to utilize it to the team's advantage. Lopetegui is either being foolish or just trying to promote someone else in place of Kudus. When Moyes played Bowen as false nine with Kudus scheming around and Paqueta behind them, West Ham was a fearsome team last year. They should go back to that system and see a more efficient Kudus.

Kudus should sometimes play it simple. Kudos with the very 1st touch of the ball wants to dribble 3 players and more. That way Kudus doesn't become a team player but selfish. The coach is right. Kudus should study Lionel Messi. Sometimes he plays it simple that opponents forget him in the game. Then he exploded especially in 2nd half when opponents have tired legs.

I saw this coming. Boy is busy looking at dribbling statistics instead of team work. It is same for black stars. They busy looking for individual glory instead team work

He should watch it and learn to release the ball a little earlier and faster to improve on his style as a polished and selfless team-player.

His style of play is really 'colo', the type we used to win the hearts of ladies during our cyto days. It is nit productive in modern soccer. Even great dribblers like Messi know when to pass the ball
