I seem to agree with Renard n his assertions. African teams are glowing in talents and pedigree all over the place..in the 60s Black Stars will hammer any team mercilessly but today struggles even against the weakest of them. Although the standard of Ghana football has dropped over the last several years due to player attitudes and FA's ineptitude as well. However that doesn't mean other nations aren't improving. Today in Africa, the power houses of Afcon are struggling while the hitherto the smaller nations are becoming very competitive. So agree completely with Renard. As for Europe we all know it's either France, Germany, Spain or Italy and Netherlands..England is playing catch up.
