And those comparisons dont make sense, as a sports journalists you should know that the Black Stars generate more money than the amputee team, and it sells Ghana more than the amputee team. How many Ghanaians even watched the amputee tournament? When we ask you to even name two amputee team players, will you know?

This sports writer does notake sense, in my honest view. The minister sent out the Amputee team to the tournament in Egypt. They returned with the trophy which is commendable. But instead of reporting back to the minister, they decided to show the trophy to someone else, who rewarded them for their achievement. This is not to belittle the former president but they should have first reported to the ministry before going round to show the trophy to others. The comparison with the Black Stars does not make sense.
