I say this because before you launch out on what on the face of it looks like a saintly act you need to really take into consideration the following facts:
1. It will be extremely difficult if not impossible for you to start interacting with those kids without having some form of contact with your treacherous and ruthless Ex. Do you really want to get entangled emotionally again with her?
2. But far more importantly how will renewing or reviving your relationship with your Ex's children affect your relationship with your current wife, children and new sets of friends and associates?
Why expose yourself to danger? Why "go back to Egypt" massa?
IMHO YOU SHOULD REALLY FOCUS ON BUILDING GROWING NURTURING YOUR CURRENT REAL FAMILY AND STOP LOOKING IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR MASTER. MARRIAGE IS HARD WORK AND REQUIRES YOUR ATTENTION 100%
In real life a driver who keeps looking in the rearview mirror rather than what is in front of them will sooner or later crash their vehicle because they are allowing themselves to be distracted.
