That because of one performance at a second tier European competition, a just above average performance in a league that is rated 4th best in Europe, he should be crowned Africa's best? Is that how the Abedi Peles, the George Weahs, Roger Millier, Rabah Majer, Samuel Eto, Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure Mohammed Salah, and the Sadio Manes performed to win that prestigious crown? It appears Nigerians have become so centered that they see mediocrity from their players as super performance. That's sad.
