@Dondon , l think Resi comments are all football reasons and should be seen as such . Some coaches take long time to adjust to their new team . Others hit the ground running win matches. But in both scenarios, football fans want to see the basic football boxes are being ticked. For example selecting the best players on form , picking match day squad on merit etc , the fans will be on any coach side. And in football ,there is nothing like allowing the coach to do his job . At this moment, England have one of the best squad in Europe , but the English fans don't like their coach Gary Southgate much. Why? He prefers to play Macquire as a CD who is not so good. The fans are always attacking him in the media. It doesn't mean they are negative or they are complaining. Remember the team belongs to them.
The best coaches in the world make mistakes and they are pointed out to them promptly or during live discussions before the match. Pep Guardiola ,who is arguably the best coach in the world , always has an assistant sitting on his right hand side in matches. Every decision ,he Pep consults that man. In 2021 Uefa champions league final vrs my team Chelsea , he made a big mistake , by playing without a DM .He was told just before the match. Eventually he lost 1-0 to Chelsea.Quite recently in another Uefa champions league , Bayern vrs Real Madrid , with Bayern leading 1-0 , five minutes to go and the coach did the most unthinkable . Pulling out your best player Harry Kane .Most fans and pundits never understood the coach Thomas Tuchel. Bayern went on to lose .We should see that coaches are rather under immense pressure and they need our help and not they know all so leave them to commit blunders.
