Check he was a member of Kotoko communication team in charge of Promoting Kotoko matches and Projects at the time he was relieved of his post in 2023 there was nothing that he had brought on board save Kotoko club struggling at 4th position that was around 5th June 2023.
He knows everything talk down on everybody but when you ask them to take the steering they are a disaster!!!!

If you don't know Essien was one of the instrumental players who qualified Ghana to the FIFA WC in Germany in 2006 and the Brazil WC in 2014. In 2005, Essien, Matthew Amoah and Stephen Appiah were instrumental in the WC qualifier against SA, home and away. Again in 2013, Essien was key in our massive defeat of Egypt in the Brazil WC qualifier at Baba Yara SS.

This Songo guy started attacking Inaki Williams when he decided to commit to Ghana and started comparing him to players like Haminu Dramani. And now this guy is doing the same thing to Michael Essien all because he wants to coach Ghana, what has Songo also done in sports journalism in this country beside collecting money from players and pushing them into the national team through social media. This Songo said the sports minister called him to seek for advice on appointing a new coach, this is not done anywhere in the world, why must you seek advice from a sports presenter before appointing a coach if not that you are corrupt. What is Songo and Saddick Adams interest in the Black Stars. They should focus on the local league if they love Ghana football as they claim.

I believe some very good coaches did not even play top flight soccer, yet they have achieved a lot. Mourinhno did not play top flight soccer but he is one of the best coaches in the world. Moreover Essien doesn't have the experience to coach blackstars. Songo didn't say they should go in for Akwesi Appiah, he said Akwesi Appiah is better than otto Addo.
