This time around, former BS players and coaches people like Abdul Rasaq, Mohammed Polo etc. should be brought on board. These are the people that can take the Black Stars to the promised land by playing good Ghanaian football.
The GFA made big mistakes when they abandoned these tested coaches and appointed less experienced people like Akunnor, Kwesi Appiah etc. In fact the disaster started from when Akunnor was appointed the coach of the national team without any cogent criteria or bases!

Most football teams had other disciplines like athletics table tennis etc attached. This we had Sekondi Wise sports club and many more. Before a soccer match took place, a host of sporting disciplines proceeded,leading to the unearthing of such greats like Ethel Jack's. Right down to the 70' s when colts football thrived. I vividly remember colts competitions before main matches where spectators were able to identify potentials after watching a team like Anokye stars against any team in their league. It was a taster before the main meal. But today, where are they? In the pockets of unpatriotic citizens who are out for their own personal benefit,because,we continue to bow to mamon. If we do not address the problem from the sports ministry,it will take a very long time to reach Nirvana.
