Likewise, it is way past time for Andre Ayew to do likewise, judging from his performance at the last AFCON and before. Evening the legendary Abedi Ayew Pele retired at some point. The coach's duty is to take the right decisions for the team and not to ensure peace between players who wish to cling to their egos.

Let not forget the Dede was not just any player but a deputy Captain so if he becomes the captain it does not make any difference and from my point of view I don't see why Mr. Asamoah Gyan has issues with this captain band stuff.let be real here a coach and a player who has authority over the team. So if the coach says he doesn't want you to be his captain must this one too become an issue that every time we have to visit? Then all the Captain of the blackstars won't be happy ooo.

If not, then why would Dede Ayew being named the captain of the Black Stars become the cause of the Black Stars downfall.
Many of you people just say things because you just feel like it.
If there is anything bad, then let's ask Gyan who as you said almost retired because of captaincy issues. He is the only player in the world to have felt the captain's arm band is his personal property so he had his image on it in an international FIFA sanctioned match.
